Screen your own resumes with evidence you can defend.

Qcandidate is software for in-house HR teams. It ranks the applicants you already received against the requirements you wrote, shows exactly why, and leaves the decision — and the sign-off — with a person.

Frequently asked questions

01What is Qcandidate?

Software that in-house HR teams use to review the resumes they already received. It ranks applicants against the skill requirements your team writes, shows the evidence behind every score, and produces the audit record the EU AI Act and NYC Local Law 144 expect. It is not a job board: we sell no job listings, no advertising and no placement services.

02Does the software decide who gets rejected?

No. Qcandidate cannot reject anyone. It produces a ranking and an evidence table; a named person on your team signs off every outcome, and that sign-off is logged with the rubric version used. Human oversight is enforced in the product, not just promised in a policy.

03Does it profile candidates by personal characteristics?

No. Scoring runs only against the job's stated skill and experience requirements. We do not collect or infer race, gender, age, health, religion, political opinion or any other protected or special-category attribute, and the bias-audit view exists so you can prove that.

04What do candidates see?

Every candidate can open a portal with their own score breakdown, the criteria used and the evidence found in their resume, plus the route to request human review. Unsuccessful candidates also get a free Growth Kit of public courses that close their skills gap — provided at no charge and never monetised.

05What does it cost, and who pays?

Employers pay a software subscription in USD, billed to the business. Screening your own applicants starts free. Candidates are never charged, never upsold and never asked for payment of any kind.

06How does the talent referral network fit in?

It is an optional feature for existing customers. Companies can refer strong runners-up they couldn't hire; the candidate must click a private confirmation link before anything is listed, and can withdraw at any time. No purchased, scraped or third-party candidate data is ever used.
